Shoot 3 Review

Today we photographed Issy, who welcomed us into her large but messy student home with open arms! She's definitely an interesting character with lots of lovely qualities. Today in general has left me feeling even more passionate about the side of the project that gives you an insight into individuals. Issy's shoot also emphasised the independent but youth spirit of the people featured in the project and how exciting that really is. There's something special about being let into someone's home, personal spaces and bedroom, in particular, that makes me feel intrigued by them and I hope this shines through in the digital images. I learnt a lot a lot about Issy today; her music taste, her family and her lifestyle. We chatted throughout which helped create a more fluid, relaxed atmosphere that worked great for our aim of more natural, interesting shots. Our connection throughout also highlighted my people skills and how easily I get along with others, a really helpful trait to have for this project and one that I now notice and pride myself on! My passion for this concept and enjoyment of shooting people just keeps on growing, I don't want it to end yet!
